Participate & Registration

How to Participate

Participating in a Ravenskeep event is straightforward. Here are the key points:

  • First come, first served — Registration works on a first-come basis. We do ensure a good balance between players, extras, game masters, and volunteers.
  • Membership is required — To participate in events you must be a member of the association. Membership is valid for a calendar year.
  • Costs vary per event — The base price differs per event. The role you fulfill during the game or roles you take on during the event may affect your ticket price. During event registration you'll see this broken down.
  • Everyone is welcome — Whether it's your first time or you've been playing for years, there's always a role that suits you.

The Registration Process

Event registration follows a few steps through our website:

  1. Choose who you're signing up — You can register yourself, or someone else (for example a friend or family member who already has an account). Make sure you have their email address or username, and know which volunteer roles they'd like to take on.
  2. Choose a game role — Select the role you want to play during the event: player, extra, game master, bar crew, or trader.
  3. Choose event roles (optional) — Volunteer for tasks such as setup, teardown, bar service, or first aid.
  4. Fill in additional details — Depending on the event, you may be asked for extra information such as dietary preferences or medical details.
  5. Payment — Complete your registration via the payment page.

After payment you'll receive a confirmation and you're registered for the event.

Event Volunteer Roles

In addition to your game role, you can volunteer for event tasks. You can choose multiple tasks.

  • Setup Crew — Help set up props and prepare the playing field before the event.
  • Teardown Crew — Help dismantle props and return them to storage after the event. Ensure the playing field is left clean.
  • Bar Service — Help manage the bar during the event.
  • Toilet Service — Keep sanitary facilities clean and stocked.
  • Designated Driver — Stay sober throughout the event so you're available for transport in case of emergencies.
  • First Aid — Provide first aid for injuries or medical emergencies. A valid first aid certificate is required.
  • Confidant — Serve as a confidential point of contact for participants who need support with uncomfortable situations.
  • Children's Coordinator — Contact person for minor participants and their guardians during the event.

Signing Up Someone Else

You can also register someone else for an event, provided that person has an account on our website. This is useful if you want to participate together with a friend or family member.

During registration, you choose in the first step who you're signing up. You can choose from users you know. The system tracks who submitted the registration (the applicant) and who it's for (the participant).

Minors: Want to register a minor (age 12-17)? Check our page about minor participation for the specific requirements and registration process.
